Your privacy is strictly respected. This generator is designed with a privacy-first architecture, ensuring your creative data remains in your control.

1. Local Storage

We strictly use Local Storage technology to enhance your experience. This means data is stored directly on your own device browser and is never sent to our servers for persistence.

What We Store Locally:

  • User Preferences: Settings like "Dark Mode" or the "Don't show this again" flag for contribution invites.
  • Session State: Temporary interface states to provide a smoother user experience.

2. Input Data & Character Names

Any character names, genders, or pronouns you enter into the generator are processed entirely client-side.

We do not log, track, or save the names of the characters you use. Your personal "Headcanons" are generated on your machine, for your eyes only, unless you explicitly choose to share them via the "Share Image" or "Copy Text" features.

3. Prompt Submissions

There is one specific exception where data is sent to us: Volunteer Submissions.

If you choose to use the "Submit a Prompt" feature, the text of your prompt entry is securely transmitted to our review database.

  • These submissions are manually reviewed for safety and quality.
  • Approved prompts may be "baked into" the public prompts.json file for community use.
  • Do not submit personal information in your prompts.
